I Love Tacos TAQUERIA

I was born and raised most of my life in California and moving to Missouri I have searched there is just no other place that I have found that compares to this place the food takes me to a place of comfort it's unreal. The service isn't always the best it depends on who is working but I still give five stars even on the days the customer service isn't the greatest for the food alone amazing. Also I would try to avoid going around lunch time on weekends because they are so amazing they are always slammed plus they are right next to Flying J's truck stop so they get a lot of business from the truckers as well the food is well worth the wait if you have the time to wait

Delicious authentic Mexican street food! I got two vegetarian tacos and a horchata. My partner got a chicken taco and my friends ordered the large order of tamales, super satisfied, fresh Awesome menu selection many choices for everyone Seems like a busy spot and they keep it down! The horchata is aaaamazing, best I’ve had in a long time. It’s singing to my taste buds

Delicious food! Tortas are good and filling. Average of 15-20 per person. There are two indoor tables to eat at each with 2 pub chairs and three picnic tables outdoors. Plenty of parking. Good variety of foods and meats to choose from. Red salsa has great heat to it while remaining flavorful. True Mexican homemade salsa, not your typical Mexican restaurant pizza sauce style salsa that is mainly tomato with a hint of spice. Highly recommend.

It’s a taco truck so the atmosphere is that of a taco truck. But the food is AMAZING!!! The day we went it was bitter cold and we waited for our food in the car. It was worth the wait, even in the freezing cold. The Sope was one of the best i’ve had! My husband & I were born and raised in California & we take Mexican food very seriously. This is my top pick for Springfield. Try their chips and red salsa, it’s so good! The Horchata was amazing!

First tried them stopping thru Springfield about 5 yrs ago, always said if we passed thru again we'd stop again. We just did and food was just as good now as it was then. Glad to hear they have a physical restaurant location and look forward to enjoying food when we pass thru again. Green salsa is best I think I've ever had! Also so friendly, clean, and efficient!

My girlfriend and I were from out of town and were looking for some great tacos that reminded us of our favorite Taqueria back home. We went to Google and found I Love Tacos Taqueria and was very glad we did. Located across the street from a large truck stop is the quaint little taco venue at the back of a large rock parking lot. The parking lot had to be large because of the amount of traffic this place handled. We were there in the mid-evening hours on a Monday and judging by the line out the door, we thought they were giving the tacos out for free. Although they were not free they were very reasonably priced and well worth the money. If you have ever been lucky enough to travel around Central America, you know that Authentic Tacos are different depending on which region you are in. For many Americans on either side of the US southern border, Tacos are an important comfort food. This holds especially true for this Texas native gringo. My girlfriend and I eat tacos at least once every single week and most weeks we gobble down three to four tacos three or four times a week from our local Taqeria.. We are addicted to them. Thankfully, I Love Tacos Taqueria helped fulfill our addiction. We were served quickly, with friendly customer service and we devoured our tacos and fresh-tasting tamales at one of the two small two-person bar-height tables inside the container converted into a lobby for the venue. There was picnic table space provided under a pavilion outside but I was hoping to wait out the crowd to ask the operators questions about them and their establishment but after over an hour of watching the line just get longer we finally had to leave. I do look forward to returning the next time we are in town.

Their steak (carne asada) burrito has ruined all others for me; I think it's the best I've ever had thus far. It weighed like 2lbs and was only 10. The tacos were simple, but delicious as well. Highly recommend.

Out of all the “authentic Mexican restaurants” in the area I have tried. This is literally the only one that is truly authentic. The food is actually called what it really is and it is prepared the correct way with the correct seasonings. There are not oddball items that don’t go in the food like corn or ground beef. And they don’t look at you like you’re an idiot if you ask for carne asada which is probably one of the biggest staples of Mexican food. I love tacos is hands down the best Mexican food restaurant in the state. Nothing else even comes remotely close to doing it this well. And this is from a 20 year veteran of life in the land of authentic taco trucks at every freeway exit. Well done
